PURCHASE any goods or services from the government. I might be a taxpayer, but I sure as fuck
ain’t no customer! A victim is more like it! Man, is there any doubt these people are living in a
make-believe fantasyland of their own design with no connection to reality?
However, if by customer what they mean is that I don’t actually own my property and the
government is the owner and the Rural Property Tax Notice bill is really just a veiled rent invoice,
then I suppose I could be seen as a customer. And ultimately that is exactly what it is, a rent bill,
which is proven by the Property Assessment Notice where they describe me as an owner/lessee.
You’ll also note in the photo above they say the bill is a one-page document. Also false. It’s two
pages.
BC Assessment, the Rural Property Tax Notice is issued by an authority called the Ministry of
Finance. Yet according to the mailing address on the document it’s issued by an agency called the
Surveyor of Taxes. So just who the fuck is sending out this document anyway? The Ministry of
Finance or the Surveyor of Taxes? The moneygrubbing BC government, that’s who!
And the Rural Property Tax Notice is not a “notice” in any way. It’s just a bill, plain and simple.
It’s an invoice with a list of phony “services” they claim to provide to my residence and prices for
those fake services.
And not only is the Rural Property Tax Notice issued by a separate authority from the Property
Assessment Notice, but it comes from a different city too, that being the city of Victoria. So get
this: The property is registered in New Westminster, the value estimate comes from Courtenay, the
tax bill is shot out from Victoria, yet the property itself is located in Powell River. Four different
cities! Why do all these different British Columbia cities have their sticky fingers on my private
property? Spreading things out like that is definitely a recipe for unnecessary fees, not to mention
security failures and unmitigated criminal fraud, which is exactly what’s taking place.
As stated, even though the property is located in rural Powell River, the tax is being demanded by
Victoria. That’s right, I’m paying my property taxes to fucking VICTORIA!!! The city of Victoria
is ordering me to pay property taxes for a property that is located HUNDREDS OF MILES away
from it, in another region altogether! Do those Vancouver Island PREDATORS (who I will
hereinafter refer to by the acronym VIPs) really expect us to believe that the money we pay Victoria
actually makes its way back to Powell River to finance services it supplies to our homes? Maybe
so, maybe they actually DO think we’re that dumb. Looks that way. But we’re not. And all you
have to do is look at the fake services Victoria claims to be providing on the Rural Property Tax
Notice for proof that those sewer-dwelling cockroaches are just greedily collecting cash without
supplying anything to us at all. When I pay this bill I might be financing services for people in
Victoria, but I sure ain’t paying for anything I get in PR.
Here are the “services” and charges on the Rural Property Tax Notice bill:
It’s with this contentious document, called a Rural Property Tax Notice, that the government’s
harassment of property owners escalates from simply aggravating (with its issuance of the Property
Assessment Notice) to utterly intolerable. Just glimpsing this document is so distressing it makes
me physically ill. I even dreaded writing this article because I knew I’d have to look over that
profoundly disturbing piece of paper again. The document is just loaded to the brim with nothing
but false information. Getting this belligerent demand for money is like getting pelted with rotten
eggs. It comes across as a vindictive “FUCK YOU!” from the Crown. It’d be a criminal offense
for anyone other than the government to issue a letter so blatantly illegal through the mail. It should
be a crime for the government to do it too!
As you’ll read, a kindergarten student could decipher the information on the document as an
extortion swindle. That’s how nasty it is. It easily crashes through the crime threshold into all-out
criminal fraud territory. As such, a document this offensive should never be sent through the mail
and shown to the public.

Property tax scam EXPOSED!!! Continuing my look
at the hate tax scheme the provincial government
victimizes property owners with every year, this
month I’m going to detail all the phony “services” and
prices they list on the bill they send me every May.
The Rural Property Tax Notice
Okay, for starters, the Rural Property Tax Notice
is issued by a different BC government authority
than the Property Assessment Notice which I
talked about last month. Where the Property
Assessment Notice is issued by an authority called
The services the BC government falsely claims to be providing to my house are: School, Provincial
Rural Tax, Police Tax, Area C Powell River, BC Assessment, Malaspina Fire, Municipal
Finance, Powell River Hosp.
However, as I’ve stated, in actual fact the government isn’t supplying ANY of these so-called
services to my home. They’re all bogus! Every single one of them! And you’ll note that a couple
of the services listed are just taxes, those being the Provincial Rural Tax and the Police Tax. A tax
isn’t a service. A tax is a tax and nothing more.
But let’s take a closer look at the alleged services they list on the Rural Property Tax Notice.
School? Nope, the government doesn’t provide any school services to me or my house. I don’t go
to school and I don’t have any children that do or did and I never will. And which school are they
referring to anyway? It doesn’t say. At in excess of TWENTY-ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS (!!!)
this unfair charge by far makes up the largest chunk of my yearly bill -- IT AMOUNTS TO
ALMOST HALF OF THE TOTAL AMOUNT!!! This one is pure British Columbia partisan
politics. It’s preposterous that one government union is able to beat the shit out of me by making
me pay them this much money.
Provincial Rural Tax? Nope, not a service provided either. As stated, this is a tax, not a service.
Police Tax? That too isn’t a service, it’s a tax. And as far as the local police are concerned, as I’ve
written previously, they’re total foes who’ve harassed me and even tried to put me in jail with a false
prosecution. In fact, in one instance the RCMP and the government provided MAJOR support to a
squatter on my land who did serious physical damage to my property. Anything the cops do in
Powell River is far from a service. It’s the exact opposite of a service. It’s a disservice! And
anyway, why is an RCMP tax showing up on a provincial bill? The RCMP is a federal government
entity, not a provincial one, and I already pay for the police through my federal taxes. And this
phony charge proves that the police are taking part in this billing fraud scheme as well.
Area C Powell River? What the fuck does that mean? That’s no service I’ve ever heard of.
BC Assessment? This is a charge in which I’m billed for the Property Assessment Notice they send
out with their phony estimate of the property value. The Property Assessment Notice is the initial
part of this two-part billing scam. They stick this charge in the middle of the list hoping we won’t
notice it. This is by no means a service the government provides anyone.
Malaspina Fire? Are we talking about a fire department here? Unknown. But if so, my house
doesn’t receive this service. We have no need for it. Whatever this is, we don’t receive it.
Municipal Finance? This is a service? Like hell it is! I don’t know what the fuck this one means
either but it’s not something they provide to my home.
Powell River Hosp? Hosp? What the fuck is HOSP??? Is it an abbreviation for hospitality?
Hospice? Hospitaller, the religious military order? Whatever it is, I sure don’t receive this service at
my house. And is it too hard for them to show property owners even an infinitesimally microscopic
iota of respect by spelling out the word properly? I guess so, which shows that they just don’t care
what they’re declaring on the document.
So those are the fake services the government lists to steal money from homeowners. Eight of ’em!
Talk about piling on the bullshit with a front-end loader!
And not only are the services bogus, but the prices and rates are too! You’ll note they give a
different “rate” for each service which they claim is used to calculate the amount of money they
charge for each one. Supposedly these various rates, when multiplied by BC Assessment’s value
estimate of your property, give the amount owing. This is the justification BC Assessment uses for
issuing an estimate of your home’s value. The following is from the Property Assessment Notice:
However, if you look closely you’ll see that in reality these rates have absolutely NO BEARING
WHATSOEVER on the prices given. Grab a calculator and check for yourself! The prices they
charge aren’t even REMOTELY CLOSE to the rates they give. And these fuckheads are in charge
of the education system??? This shows that BC Assessment is flat-out LYING when it says that
their value estimate is used to calculate the amount of tax you owe. The amount of tax they charge
is completely ARBITRARY and has no bearing on ANYTHING, including the value of your home.
This property tax bill is a total sham and there’s no question: the spiteful kleptomaniacs who issue it
are mentally ill!
And continuing to openly mislead homeowners into believing they’re
being sold services they can actually use, at the bottom of the page
they state that the document is a “Customer Copy.” CUSTOMER???
